Neurofeedback is a specialized form of bio-feedback, one that is focused specifically on the functioning of the brain and central nervous system. In a wide spectrum of cases, neurofeedback has been shown to lead to a profound lessening of anxiety, spontaneous states of insight, improved mental outlook, and a focused, clear, calm mind that classically could only be accessed through years of effort-full practice and cultivation through mindfulness training and hundreds of hours of meditation.

With its foundation in neuroscience and data-based clinical practice, neurofeedback uses monitoring technology to read, capture, amplify and display the moment-by-moment changes in output of brain waves emitted by the brain. The information regarding the current state of the brain is fed back to the client in the form of auditory or visual stimuli, showing whether the brain activity is within the designated range of optimal function, or not.

Based on this feedback, the trained practitioner guides the client towards changes in brain patterns that are associated with positive changes in physical, emotional and cognitive states.

I completed my studies as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese medicine (DTCM) at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I focused my acupuncture and TCM practice primarily in the areas of women's health, fertility and emotional well-being. Five years into my practice, I relocated to Vancouver, BC, further expanding my expertise by becoming a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. I spend most of my efforts helping people overcome imbalances causing stress, anxiety, depression and those who are looking for something more with respect to finding the best version of themselves. This is my passion, the fire in my belly, the spark in my heart.
